We got to play 3 games last Friday against Valleymount, AGB and Laragh, all the squad got games and the evening sun made it all the more pleasant. The first two games we took with points to spare and the kids were really enjoying themselves, the last game against Laragh was a tough match which we edged in the dying moments of the game. Most of this team will be in U10 next year and will be a strong force to contend with. The squad in full was, Steven Maguire, Danny Delaney, Kevin Bushe, Adam Bushe, Matthew Curneen, Sam Browne, Callam Van Den Berg, Adam Alzubi, Ian Coogan and Jack Corrigan.

We had a strong panel of 9 players which was good to see, we played AGB in the first game and because of our strength we controlled the game from start to finish and with some great scores being taken from all the players we won out well enough on a score line of 8 to 1. In the 2nd game we played our host and as we only played them a few weeks ago we knew we where in for a cracker and the boys and girls on both sides did not let us down.

The game was end to end with no quarter taken or given and also some of the greatest point taken from such young players which was a joy to see so well done to all there in the end we won on a score line of 10 to 7.
